About VORTEX

Welcome to VORTEX, an empowering program by Haven Family Resource Center that combines the healing power of horses and nature to provide impactful outdoor recreational therapy for veterans. We believe in supporting our veterans by offering unique and effective approaches to their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Our Mission

At VORTEX, our mission is to empower veterans through equine-assisted therapy experiences in a natural and supportive environment. Our goal is to enhance the overall quality of life for veterans by providing them with tools and resources to navigate the challenges they face after serving our country.

The VORTEX Experience

Our equine therapy program is designed to promote healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being for veterans. Led by experienced and compassionate therapists, our sessions offer a unique blend of outdoor activities, equine interactions, and therapeutic interventions.

Equine-Assisted Therapy

Equine-assisted therapy is a proven and effective approach that utilizes horses to help veterans overcome various physical and mental health issues.
