AmeriCorps at Haven Family Resource Center

Program 1: Senior Companions
The Senior Companions program aims to enhance the quality of life for older adults by providing them with companionship and assistance in their day-to-day activities. Our dedicated AmeriCorps volunteers, known as Senior Companions, spend time with the elderly, offering conversation, support, and engaging in activities such as reading, going for walks, or accompanying them to appointments.
Program 2: Benefits Enrollment Assistance
Accessing benefits can be a complex process, especially for older individuals. Our Benefits Enrollment Assistance program utilizes AmeriCorps members, trained in navigating eligibility criteria and application procedures, to help seniors access the benefits they are entitled to.
